Day 4

No rain since Tuesday has allowed more people to come to V.B.S. and the youth activities in the afternoon. Since we've arrived here there have been promotional anouncements made from a speaker phone mounted on a car that drives around for hours and informs the community about these events. God is at work here in Palamares and it's been a blessing to see children making commitments of faith. God is good all the time!

Day 3

Day 3 in Costa Rica has been a blessing and God has done so much is so little time. V.B.S. had a great turnout and the kids had a blast! 10 children accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and wanted to know more about him. Also, our radio station experience was humbling since we were able to preach the Gospel in an unimaginable location reaching all of Costa Rica and Panama!

Day 2 Costa Rica 2012

It's been less than 48 hrs and God has been moving greatly! Opportunities to minister are everywhere even despite all the distractions and obstacles the Holy Spirit is guiding us through all of our efforts. An incredible opportunity has been presented to us tonight! Tomorrow we will be sharing the gospel through a local christian radio station that reaches all of Costa Rica! Please keep us in your prayers as Jordan will be sharing God's word with an entire country and as well as encouraging the community of Palmares to join us as we host V.B.S. and "The Awakening" for the youth. You can tune in to the live broadcast tomorrow evening at 8:00pm central time at http://radioviva.radio12345.com/
Praise God and thank you for your prayers!

We've arrived! Pura Vida!

We've arrived in Palmares, Costa Rica! What a beautiful breath of fresh air this morning and we pray to be God's sweet scent to the people God puts in our path this week. We are excited for what God has in store! Keep us in your prayers! :)

Costa Rica 2010 - Thursday VBS in Palmares

Lourdes had been attending the ladies Bible study for the past two years. She had hardened her heart due to her previous experiences and struggles. Her expressions were filled with hurt and sorrow, but refused to allow the Lord into her life. Every year she would walk out during the time of the invitation. On Wednesday after the ladies bible study Lourdes asked to speak to me because she had some questions. After our conversation she said she would return on Thursday morning. The following day as Pastor Enoc was preaching Lourdes came over and I began ministering to her, and she broke into tears saying she was “ready to accept the Lord as her personal Lord and Savior.” Her youngest daughter ran to her and gave her a big hug not knowing what was going on, as the daughter turned to look at me, her mom said to her “Honey, these are tears of joy” Lourdes looked at me and said “I feel like I have been set free and peace in my heart”. Her expression had a beautiful smile and to see how God had transformed her right before my eyes is just one of many miracles that the Lord performed in Costa Rica. We serve a God of Miracles.
